Assessment Questionnaires

Assess your cybersecurity program against recognized frameworks and identify practical priorities for improvement.

An assessment questionnaire is a structured set of questions that compares what your organization actually does with what a recognized framework expects. Each question maps to a control or practice, so the answers show where your program is strong, where it is uneven, and where nothing is in place yet.

It matters because most security programs grow one decision at a time. A questionnaire gives you a single view of the whole picture, in the framework’s own language, so you can explain priorities to leadership without translating every finding by hand. It also gives you a baseline: run it again next year and the change is visible.

Start small. Choose one framework that your customers, regulators or board already recognize. Answer honestly, with evidence beside each answer rather than an optimistic score. Group the gaps by the effort and the risk they carry, then pick the three you can close this quarter. Joe can help you phrase questions for your teams, but the answers, and the judgement about what to fix first, stay with you.
